Frequently Asked Questions

There are multiple options to access the conference: “dial me now,” “already dialed in,” or “dial in now.” Which is the best option?
The best option is “dial me now.” When you choose this option, the system will automatically dial to the telephone number you entered at the “on screen” prompt. Should the "dial me now" feature not succesfully connect you to the call, you may refer to the direct dial-in information located in your registration confirmation message from zdrouin@avalerehealth.net.

What is the “dial me now” feature?
The automated system will call you directly on the telephone number that you entered at the “on screen” prompt. When you pick up the incoming phone call, you will be logged in to the call. With this option, the moderator receives your name and knows that you are on the call and web interface. While the "dial me now" feature is convenient, it cannot be guaranteed to work with all corporate phone systems—particularly those that require dialing an extension. If you cannot connect, you may refer to the direct dial-information located in your registration confirmation message from zdrouin@avalerehealth.net.

Can the “dial me now ” feature dial my mobile (cell) phone?
Yes, you can enter your cell phone number at the “on screen” prompt, but a landline is the best option for clarity throughout the call.

Can I view the webcast and use the “dial me now” feature from a speaker phone/conference room allowing for multiple people to participate?
Yes, each registration is for a site license. If everyone is in the same room, you may have multiple colleagues listen in and view the event via the web interface.

Will I be able to ask questions during the event?
Yes, the beginning of the event will be in lecture/presentation mode, but the lines will be opened to questions after the speaker presentations have concluded. You may submit your questions in one of two ways: via the web interface chat function or by pressing the (*) on your phone if you would like to ask your questions verbally.

How early can I access the web conference? If late to the event, can I still participate?
We suggest that you access the web conference using the “dial me now” feature at least five minutes prior to the event. But, as long as you are registered, you will be allowed to access the call at any time. This allows time, should the "dial me now" feature not connect you to the call, for you to dial in directly to the event via the direct dial-in information llocated in your registration confirmation message from zdrouin@avalerehealth.net.

I will not be at a computer to view the presentation, how do I follow?
If you know that you will not be able to access the Internet prior to the call, contact Zach Drouin, zdrouin@avalerehealth.net, to have the slide set sent to you the morning of the event. If your inability to access the Internet arises at the last minute, the slides will be available for download after the event and after completion of a brief online survey.

I am not allowed to download and install software on my computer. Will I have a problem accessing the presentation?
As long as you can access the Internet, you can participate in the web portion of the event; Genesys requires no download. Please check the compatibility of your system by clicking here.

While Microsoft Internet Explorer is the preferred browser to view the event, Mozilla Firefox and Apple Safari are also compatible with our technology.

Will I be able to access a recording of the event after it has taken place?
Yes, you can purchase a CD-ROM for this and other Avalere Health audio/web conferences for $345 by clicking here.

Will I be able to print the PowerPoint slides used by the presenters?
If you registered, you will have the option to download the slides once you complete a brief online survey after the event concludes.

Will I be able to view the web portion of the event with a Macintosh (Apple) computer?
Yes, the Genesys web interface is compatible with your Macintosh and Safari browser. Please check the compatibility of your system here.
